6 months old

Well this week was a little less productive than normal.  I actually ended up being sick most of this week so there was a little more tv time than normal. :(

Now that the week is almost over and I am feeling slightly better I tried to get some pictures of little sister to scrapbook her 6 month birthday.  I can't believe she is 6 months old already. It seems like just last month that she was born and that we just brought her home the other day. Time sure feels like it is passing much more quickly this time then when Pockets was little. 

Well we go to the doctor early next week to get an update on development and growth so I will make a post about that.  

Carving Pumpkins

Carving Pumpkins is always a big fall tradition around here so it calls for it's own post.

Halloween Preparations

Halloween preparations this week led to the the letter of the week

 We made pumpkin muffins for the neighbors that William insisted we add chocolate chips to.

Lastly sweet sister had a great time this week.  Here she was being ever so nice to let William measure her to see how big she was.



Week Two of school

Here are the pics from the second week of school.  We learned all about the letter B!

 Here William is practicing fine motor skills by gluing beans on the capitol and lowercase letters.

 Then he circled all the words that began with the /b/ sounds

And made an ABC pattern. 

He also made our glitter B that will be used for our alphabet book!

First Week of School

First week of school!

Now that we are finally setteled we have begun school at home.  This week the letter of the week was Aa and the theme was transportation. 

 We mainly do school at the kitchen bar.

 Pockets seemed to enjoy it alot.

 And Little Sis liked hanging out with us too.

You asked for it, so here it is

After several requests from family members and friends I have given in to developing a blog about the weekly happenings of the our family including Pockets and Little Sis.  Actually I have always really wanted to blog but didn't think anyone cared to read it and I didn't have the time.  I am going to try and make time though.  My plan to try and make as many posts as possible about our "schooling", the kiddos' development, and a little about Daddy and I's lives too sometimes.  No judgement though on spelling or grammer since I really just don't have enough time to spend writing poetic and well thought out posts.  Instead it will be more of an "on the go" type blogging with tons of pictures if possible. 
Well hopefully you all will enjoy this site. If you do please feel free to leave a comment when you see a post you like so that I know I should keep posting.
